The resin within Trench Coat helps fill the most minor areas on the clearcoat, plastic, or glass, creating the ultimate superhydrophobic surface. As you wash your vehicle, you will notice that the water sheets off the car, leaving you with much less drying work.

The modified resin within Trench Coat helps sheet water off the surface to the point that the surface is almost self-cleaning and self-drying. The water droplet's contact angle is so great that much of the surface can become superhydrophobic. The superhydrophobic property of Trench Coat dramatically reduces the chance of any remaining water sitting on the surface as well as debris. After a rainstorm, you will notice the surfaces will continue to sheet water, preventing further dirt and debris from attaching themselves to the surface. The sheeting also helps limit water spots that acid rain can create.
