Greenway’s APD Degreaser is the most potent degreaser we currently have to offer.  APD is an excellent degreaser for the person looking to clean the dirtiest grime on the vehicle’s exterior.  Use on tires, wheel wells, engines, heavy machinery, undercarriage, and more.

APD is one of the most concentrated degreasers; our most potent offering is a versatile solution for tackling the most onerous grime on various surfaces.  Whether it's tires, wheel wells, engines, heavy machinery, or the undercarriage, APD is up to the task in the industry, period!  The working dilution ratio is 30:1 (4.1 ounces of product to 123.9 ounces of water: 1 total gallon).  APD is one of the most effective degreasers available on the market today.

The concentrated formula allows for significant savings on chemical costs, making it a favorite among business owners. It can be sprayed onto wet surfaces and left to dwell for 1-5 minutes before rinsing, but avoid direct use and drying of the product interior of a vehicle or where rinsing is not applicable. Failure to rinse APD off the surface will allow it to continue to work, damaging the exterior surface and attracting additional dirt more quickly.

Please use this product with chemical-resistant trigger sprayers, which you can find here. You must dilute APD before use, with no exceptions. Wear gloves and protective clothing to avoid any concentration on your skin.

Base Material: Surfactants

Formulation: Water-based

Compatibility: Engine, Tire, Wheel, Frame

Concentrated: Yes

Free Rinsing: No

How to Use:

Always make sure the area to be cleaned is cool to the touch. Never spray APD onto a hot surface, or staining/damage will most likely occur.

Allow product to dwell 30 seconds to approximately 5 minutes, depending on your removal choice.  For rinse-free applications, a longer dwell time is necessary. For brush applications, 30 seconds to 1 minute is adequate.

Always use a chemical-resistant brush. The power of APD will deteriorate a non-chemical resistant brush. The bristles might fold and remove from the plastic block.

Rinse thoroughly with water.

Car Detailing Tech Tip:

Having a few different mixture strengths of APD is advised. Accomplish this by using our high-quality chemical-resistant spray bottles with dilution marking ratios. Having different mixture strengths on hand allows a quick transition between strength levels during a detailed job.
