Trying to clean around lug nuts can be a difficult task. This handy brush will clean away brake dust and road grime quickly without damaging the finish on your expensive wheels. The soft bristles of the brush are encased around a metal wire for extra durability. The brush contains three separate lug nut brush heads that can be easily separated to clean around small lug nut openings. This brush is a must-have for intricate wheel detailing. Combine this lug nut cleaning brush with any of our premium wheel cleaners for phenomenal results.
How to Use:
It is essential always to make sure the wheel is cool to the touch. Using a hose or pressure washer, make sure to rinse each wheel of heavy debris. Doing so will ensure the removal of the heaviest dirt and the wheel is cool. Spraying a hot wheel with any wheel cleaner can cause permanent wheel damage. Using any of our premium wheel cleaners, spray the rim adequately with your favorite Greenway’s wheel cleaner and let dwell. After approximately 30 seconds, you can agitate the lug nut surface using the brush. Rinse off after completed with a high-pressure spray or a garden hose.
Tech Tip:
-
Always let your brush air dry after use. Never leave in wheel cleaning buckets as potent cleaning agents can prematurely wear brush bristles.
-
Wheels can become extremely hot to the touch. Make sure to rinse each wheel adequately to ensure chemical etching does not occur or personal injury due to hot surface contact with skin.
-
Always use chemical-resistant wheel brushes when using high pH or low pH wheel cleaners. Using non-chemical-resistant wheel brushes will result in bristle failure. Spending a few dollars more on a professional wheel brush saves you money over time. Bristles will not collapse or fallout of plastic bodies.
