One of the most challenging tasks for many detailers is obtaining streak-free windows. Typically we run into detailers using standard microfiber towels for window cleaning, using inferior glass cleaning products, and using towels that are cross-contaminated from improper washing techniques.

Our grey pearl texture microfiber towel will allow you to achieve streak-free results.  When combined with our Optical Glass Werkz, you will be amazed at how easy it is to achieve streak-free windows.

How to Use:

If the windows you are cleaning are filthy, it is essential to use multiple towels. Your first towel can be any standard microfiber towel to remove any excess residue. Spray Optical Glass Werkz onto the surface and allow the product to dwell for a few seconds. Wipe the window of any remaining residue, and then clean the window again using our microfiber window cleaning towel.

Following this method allows you to remove any heavy film that might accumulate onto the windows' interior. Suppose the windows have an extreme amount of smoke residue, animal saliva, etc. In that case, we suggest using our glass cleaning pad first, a standard microfiber towel follow-up cleaning, and then a final cleaning with our grey microfiber window cleaning towel.

It is essential always to remember always to use clean, uncontaminated microfiber towels designed for window cleaning.  Wash these towels separately from any towels that had contact with silicone (tire dressing towels, interior dressing towels, etc.).

Avoid doing the dirtiest windows first to prevent excess contamination of your microfiber towels.  The inside windshield is typically the most difficult and one of the most filthy windows on most vehicles.

Always make sure to properly care for your microfiber towels in terms of the washing and drying stage. Poor washing habits and high heat drying will cause immediate damage to the microfiber towel.
