Ace paste wax is our top of the line wax that Greenway’s Car Care Products offers. Ace uses the highest quality of ingredients to create a wax that takes your vehicle's paintwork to a whole new level. The paint will be extremely glossy with pronounced depth, and water will bead and sheet off the surface to help prevent water spots. Top Ace with additional coats to provide a more substantial paintwork barrier. Ace works on paintwork, glass, polished metal components, and transparent plastics. Ace will significantly enhance any color paint finish and help protect your vehicle's finish from oxidation, water spots: staining, industrial fallout, and more.
Many competitor’s waxes are extremely difficult to apply, cake upon the vehicle surface, and require tons of elbow grease for both the application and removal. Ace paste wax is guaranteed to be one of the easiest, highest quality waxes available. Using inferior, cheap waxes challenging to apply and remove can cause marring or swirl marks on the paintwork. Since Ace paste wax applies and removes with almost no pressure needed, we recommend using Ace paste wax and any of our high-quality microfiber towels on the most sensitive painted surfaces. While Ace is excellent to use on any vehicle, it is beneficial when dealing with “soft” clear coats. Once you try Greenway’s Ace paste wax, you will be “blown away” on the appearance and protection it will create.
How to Use:
Ace wax is perfect to use on a vehicle where you have achieved paint correction or the car is free of minor and major defects. While Ace will provide some "filling/masking" properties, Ace Wax is a non-abrasive type of product. Ace Wax is typically your final step in regards to having long term paint protection. If your vehicle has oxidation, swirl marks, scratches, and other paint defects, you would have to use a pure polish, one-step product, or another product to remove light to moderate imperfections before applying Ace Wax. We recommend the above steps for the best results, but these additional steps are purely optional. It all depends on what level of paint correction before protection that you are trying to achieve.
Even if you are not proceeding with the paint correction phase, proper surface preparation is the key. Complete a clay bar treatment, tar removal, and bug removal, since embedded contamination on the surface will not allow the wax to bond. Also, this will make the application and removal more difficult.
It is advisable to work in small sections approximately 2 feet x 2 feet. Apply in a back and forth motion with a microfiber applicator, allow the product to haze, and then remove with a soft microfiber towel. Always use a quality microfiber towel to avoid inducing any marring on the paint! Ace can also be applied to the entire vehicle and then removed, but if extreme heat or humidity conditions are present, the smaller sections of the application are advisable.
If you apply Ace with a slow speed buffer, many newer vehicles contain many curves. The foam buffing pad might come in contact with unpainted plastic components. This contact can cause staining and color loss of the unpainted plastic may occur. You can treat the exterior trim with our Finishing Touch Detail Spray. The detail spray will apply a light silicone coating over the plastic, which will help prevent any stain. Any residue from any exterior applied product will wipe off with ease and help avoid staining the plastic. While hand application is more precise, it also takes longer than a slow speed machine technique.
Always use a soft, non-abrasive finishing pad and run your machine at a very low speed. Ace Wax is not meant to be dismissed through the use of a buffer at high speed. Running a buffer at high speed may cause unsatisfactory resuregardingd to smooth application and easy removal.
